Dr. Anton Matveev is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with fellowship training in Sports and Regenerative Medicine. He focuses on providing patients with a good understanding of their diagnoses, their treatment options and the best pathway for achieving their functional goals. Dr. Matveev is also passionate about teaching and utilizing musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Dr. Matveev attended Rutgers University, graduating Magna cum laude in biology, before receiving his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed an internship at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in NJ, followed by a top-ten nationally ranked residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital / MossRehab in Philadelphia, PA. Afterward, Dr. Matveev broadened his sports medicine training, completing a fellowship at the New Jersey Regenerative Institute, working alongside the Renowned Dr. Gerard Malanga. During his fellowship, he received extensive training in diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures, as well as regenerative procedures including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Microfragmented Adipose (MFAT), Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC).
Outside of work, Dr. Matveev enjoys playing and watching soccer, hiking and foreign cuisine. He speaks English, Russian, and Romanian.
